What stays free
The 30-day trial is not a countdown to a locked app. When it ends you keep browsing, auditioning and building kits for as long as you like, with no licence, no account and no expiry. Point it at a 200GB drive and go through the whole thing without paying anything.
Exporting is the part the licence buys. You get three exports after the trial ends, which is enough to confirm the files really do load on your own hardware, and after that exporting needs a licence. So the honest summary is: finding what is on your drive is free forever, and getting it out to your sampler is the $79.

What it runs on
macOS, Apple silicon and Intel. Windows is planned but has no date, and you should not buy today expecting it. The trial is the honest test: if it runs on your machine during the trial, it runs on your machine.
How buying works
Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. They take card and PayPal, show the price in your currency, and handle sales tax and VAT for your country. Businesses can enter a VAT ID at checkout. We never see your card details.
Delivery is immediate and digital: a download link and a licence key arrive by email as soon as payment clears. Nothing ships.
Questions people actually ask
Is there a subscription?
No. $79 once. There is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal, and no cloud service that can be switched off underneath you. The app runs entirely on your machine.
Can I sell the music and the kits I make with it?
Yes. We claim no ownership and no royalty on anything Sample Miner produces. Release it, sell it, license it, no credit needed. You do need the rights to the source samples you point it at, but that was true before Sample Miner existed.
Do you upload my library anywhere?
No. There is no account, no cloud sync and no telemetry. Your samples never leave your computer, and we never see your filenames or what you build. See the Privacy Policy.
What if it does not work for me?
Use the 30-day trial first, which is the whole application rather than a limited version, and note that browsing and auditioning never expire. If you buy and change your mind anyway, email us within 14 days for a refund. Details in the Refund Policy.
Why $79 and not less?
It is priced against what it replaces rather than against the cheapest thing in the category. Comparable library tools run $89 to $149, and this one is the only one that gets kits out to hardware samplers rather than keeping them locked in the app. If it saves you one afternoon of dragging files around, it has paid for itself.
Will there be a paid upgrade later?
Updates within the version you buy are included. A future major version may cost something, and we will say so plainly rather than quietly converting anyone to a subscription.
Is this an AI product?
No. Sample Miner analyses audio you already own using signal processing. There is no model, no generation and nothing sent to a server. It finds what is on your drive, it does not invent sounds.
